Monday
When you invite God in — truly make Him Lord of your home, your heart, your life — He rejoices over you with gladness and exults over you with singing. His joy is a response to your surrender.
Every morning this week begin with this intentional invitation — "Lord, You are welcome here. In my home, in my heart, in every decision I make today. You are Lord." That is not just a prayer. That is an act of surrender that moves the heart of God.
Wednesday
God does not rejoice over a perfect life. He rejoices over an open door — a heart that says "Come in, You are welcome here, You are Lord."
Have you truly given God full occupancy of your life — or are there rooms you are still keeping closed to Him? What would it look like to open one of those doors this week?
Friday
Lord, I open every room to You today. My home. My heart. My relationships. My decisions. Come in — be Lord of all of it. Rejoice over what You find here. Amen.
This weekend — do a quiet heart inventory. Ask yourself honestly — "Is God truly Lord of my home? My finances? My relationships? My time?" Wherever the answer is no — open that door this weekend.
- Where did you experience God's presence this week as a result of truly inviting Him in?
- Is there an area of your life where you have been keeping the door closed to God? What is holding you back?
- As you head into the weekend what is one specific area where you will surrender full occupancy to God before Monday arrives?
