Last updated: May 22, 2026
1. Welcome
Quiet Bread (“Quiet Bread,” “we,” “us”) is a scripture-centered devotional ministry. By accessing our website, subscribing to our text or email messages, or using any feature of the platform (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to provide it (including any phone number you submit).
3. Devotional Content
All devotionals, reflections, and prayers are provided for personal spiritual encouragement. They are not a substitute for pastoral counsel, medical advice, mental-health treatment, or professional care. Scripture quotations are used under fair use; translation attributions are included where required.
4. Accounts & Your Content
You are responsible for any prayer-journal entries, comments, or other content you submit. You retain ownership of your content; you grant Quiet Bread a limited license to store and display it solely to provide the Service to you. Do not submit content that is unlawful, harassing, or that infringes on others’ rights.
5. Text Messaging (SMS)
When you opt in to receive devotionals by text, you consent to receive recurring automated messages from Quiet Bread at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies (typically up to 7 per week). Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOPto cancel at any time. Full details are in our SMS Policy.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, scraping content without permission, sending automated requests, or interfering with other users’ access.
7. Intellectual Property
The Quiet Bread name, logo, original writing, and visual design are owned by Quiet Bread. You may quote brief portions of devotionals with attribution; you may not republish full devotionals without written permission.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quiet Bread will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
