Monday

Proverbs 15:1; 1 Thessalonians 5:11

A kind word can bring healing, encouragement, and hope to someone's heart. Never underestimate the power of what God puts in your mouth.

This Week's Practice

Each day this week speak one deliberate word of encouragement to someone — out loud, in person or by message. Words carry life. Use yours intentionally.

Wednesday

Our words have the power to build up or tear down. Kindness chooses to build — even when criticism would be easier.

A Question to Sit With

As this month of Kindness closes — where have your words brought life this week and where have they fallen short of the grace God has shown you?

Friday

Prayer

Lord, set a guard over my mouth and fill it with Your kindness. As this month closes let the words I speak this weekend reflect Your heart. Amen.

Weekend Nudge

This weekend — before you speak into any difficult situation pause and ask — "Is this kind? Is this necessary? Is this true?" Let kindness lead.

Journal
  1. Looking back over this month where did kindness change a situation you were facing?
  2. What has God grown in you through this month of Kindness?
  3. As we close Kindness and step into a new topic Monday — what one truth about reflecting Christ through compassion will you carry forward?
